Julissa Diaz is the Studio Assistant and Crystalogist at IXIM. In her care, each Crystal is a living mirror of divinity, prepared with intention to meet its future IX Keeper. Julissa cleanses, sets intentions, tracks the Crystals’ journey, and ensures they embody the clarity, presence, and energetic integrity that IXIM stands for. For her, tending to the Crystals is an act of reciprocity: as she nurtures them, they guide her back to her own center, awakening wonder, clarity, and power.

Her path into this work began while she was attending university, where she worked at a bead and Crystal shop. Surrounded by gemstones, she discovered the depth of creation and began designing intentional jewelry pieces that became extensions of self-expression. Jewelry-making helped her break through the fear of being seen, opening her voice and confidence as she joyfully shared the stories and energies of each stone. Citrine, in particular, became her creative companion, fueling her with creativity and focus. Alongside her jewelry work, Julissa gained experience in the creative field, contributing to projects at Poster House and Proxyco, where she honed her eye for visual storytelling and educational curation. This combination of creative and hands-on work laid the foundation for her present role as IXIM’s Crystalogist and Studio Assistant, where she continues to combine intention, energy, and beauty into tangible form.

Julissa’s academic journey at Fordham University reflects her dual nature of logic and spirit. She studied Mathematics alongside Latin American Studies, driven both by a love for structure and a desire to reconnect with her heritage. As a Chicana, her studies became an act of reclamation and gaining the confidence to express herself fully and honor the voices of her ancestors. Through history curanderismo, ritual, and affirmations, Julissa aspires to empower future generations of Chicanas to step into their power.

At IXIM, she integrates her reverence for Crystals, her devotion to ancestral wisdom, her eye for creation, and her structured discipline. By caring for each Crystal with profound attention, Julissa ensures that when an IX Keeper receives it, they encounter not only a sacred tool but also an invitation into presence, safety, and remembrance of their own divinity.
